FUNCTIONAL ALIGNMENT

How I work

A series of approachable, targeted corrective exercises designed to restore balance, build strength and improve how you move.

I perform a full-body assessment to identify your preferred movement patterns and imbalances. I use targeted self-release to reduce the tension that’s holding you back. Then we build strength where you need it most and integrate movements that improve core, balance and mind-body connection.

  • Personalized 4–6 week plan
  • Tutorial videos for every exercise

QUESTIONS

Good to know

How long until Functional Alignment “works”?

Many clients notice changes after the first session. To keep and build results, plan on 3–5 short sessions a week with your home program. With solid follow-through, most people notice a meaningful shift within 4–6 weeks.

What’s the difference between this and physical therapy?

Functional Alignment restores balance through assessment, release techniques and targeted strength, aimed at improving movement quality. It does not diagnose or treat injuries. If you need that, please see a licensed physical therapist. I’m happy to coordinate care.

Can this help with pain?

Often, yes: when we address imbalances, pain can decrease. But pain isn’t always caused by imbalance. If you’re in pain now, please see your physician or physical therapist first to rule out injury.

Do you accept insurance?

Insurance isn’t billed directly. HSA cards are accepted.

Are you taking new massage clients?

Not at this time. Existing massage clients can book by logging into their account.

WHAT CLIENTS ARE SAYING

“Prior to my Functional Alignment experience at Align I had regular body aches, pain, stiffness, and poor posture. I had tried exercise in the past but had always ended up feeling unsure, overwhelmed, and unable to stay consistent. Caroline met me where I was at and helped me correct my posture all while building strength and mobility. She worked with my personal goals, restraints, and preferences to come up with a movement plan that actually felt achievable and was completely custom to me.”

Cassie · Functional Alignment

“After just one month, I noticed measurable improvements in how my shoulders felt after long periods at my desk or on my feet. After five months, my shoulders felt better than ever. I’ve gone from needing biweekly massages in previous years to using exercises and self-release techniques without relying on painkillers or massage over the past 6 months.”

John S. · Coaching, 6 months

“Caroline's experience and training is apparent in the first five minutes with her and it's obvious she partakes in continuing education. She is very attentive and thoughtful in her approach. Her massage is great at loosening and releasing consistent trigger points, and her functional alignment helps to fix the underlying problem. She is a joy to work with and the atmosphere she has created is very relaxing. I highly recommend!”
